Frank Popplewell Classroom and Administration Building -- photography by Hollie MillerThe Frank Popplewell Classroom and Administration Building (A) is located to the west of the main entrance, directly to the left of the Fred Eder Student Services/Classroom Building. The building, one of Missouri Western's first opening for classes in 1969, has undergone recent technological additions to many of its classrooms.

Frank Popplewell, author of Teacher in Missouri: 1925-1972, gave much of his life to Missouri Western. He was an instructor at Missouri Western from its start as the old junior college, then through it's time as a district junior college, finally seeing it become a 4-year college before retiring.

The Frank Popplewell Classroom and Administration Building serves as the home of the History, Philosophy and Geography and the Government, Social Work and Sociology departments amongst others.
