![]() Built by a joint effort between the Missouri Conservation Department and Missouri Western, the Northwest Missouri Regional Department of Conservation Office allows students and faculty to experience nature first hand. The building, opened in mid-1992, houses not only classrooms, but forestry programs, fisheries, natural history exhibits and outreach/education programs. The department also hosts a national hunting and fishing day that usually draws in about 800 people. The department also maintains a pond built for study and observation and numerous wildlife exhibits and several walking trails are located nearby. |
